We thought you would be interested in knowing the new release of "The Parent Trap" was based on our camp. The daughter of the Producer and Director, Annie Meyer-Shyer is a former Waldenite. Annie and her parents were so impressed with Walden, they asked us if they could use the Walden logo in the re-make of the film, and base the "camp" scenes on Camp Walden.

Charles, Nancy and Annie all had a wonderful experience with Walden. They have very fond memories of Annie's time spent with us and wanted to share those memories with everyone.

Although they did not actually film at Walden, they used photos of camp to build some of the sets and to make the bunks, dining room and lake front look as authentic as possible.

It is very exciting for "our Walden family" to be part of this movie. It is rewarding and gratifying to know how very special Annie's "Walden Experience" was to her and her family.
