Working at Walden
Introduction

Summer camp is a concentrated, demanding, and structured 24-hour a day job. The girls are in camp for eight weeks. They are OUR responsibility and there is no greater trust, than that placed upon us by the camper's parents. We expect no less from our staff than their complete dedication to the camper's needs.

All counselors are general counselors with emphasis placed on one teaching area. The most important aspect of being a counselor concerns the relationships you help to develop with and among the girls. General counselor duties include bunk counseling, trip counseling, supervising meals, and other general duties. If you are the type of person who can create a positive atmosphere and have a genuine interest in working with children, we encourage you to apply.
